Trial Coordinator for STAMP AF Trial (Short Term Amiodarone in the Prevention of Atrial Fibrillation Following Cardioversion). Pilot Study Randomised Double Blinded Placebo Controlled Trial. As Trial Coordinator, Dr. Damodharan was involved in selecting the patients, obtaining informed consent, randomising the sample, issuing the tablets with the help of the Pharmacist, performing Cardio version after baseline investigations and following up on the patients.
Research Project entitled "Advanced Glycated End Products and its Effects on Arterial Stiffness." At Northwick Park. 2002 to 2003. Study of 40 selected Type-2 Diabetics of mixed races, on various medications, to check arterial stiffness by measuring augmentation index non-invasively by a spygmocor. The data was presented in the local forum and the results formed the basis of further investigations and product development by the pharmaceutical companies.
